the room i booked , a standard double or twin room, was much too small. it was difficult to move around and i felt quite cramped . also , the noise from the water pipes was quite disruptive , especially at night.

the location was pretty convenient. it was close to major attractions. the staff was accommodating, that's true. the breakfast on the rooftop had a nice view.
the room was quite small. i had to shuffle sideways to get around. there was also very little lighting in the shower room. it made shaving difficult, i will admit.

The front desk staff offered helpful directions and suggestions. I appreciated that the hotel stored luggage after our cruise arrival. They also made breakfast boxes for our early morning flights at 5:15, an unexpected kindness.
The room was a bit small. It felt snug with our luggage.

The rooftop is accessible around the clock. I could have breakfast there at 7 am. The meeting spot for my acropolis tour was a short walk from the hotel. I made it by 7:25 am. I had a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. The view from the rooftop at night was beautiful. I watched the acropolis lights. The hotel is in a fantastic location for walking to main sights.

mixed feelings on the room situation

the location of the hotel was fine, near the main attractions.
The room i got was way too small, i could barely move around. plus, the noise was a real problem. I could hear everything from the hallway to the next room and it was really annoying. the bathroom situation wasn't great either. The door didn't offer much privacy.

Acceptable Stay with a Few Issues
unfriendly staffpoor sound insulation
The breakfast area felt quite cramped. Finding a table was sometimes a challenge. The staff didn't seem particularly friendly. the sound insulation was not good. I could hear a lot of noise from the hallway and other rooms.
